  • Dear Mirage Homeowners,

We want to provide you with an important update regarding the current forest fire situation, based on the most recent information from Barnegat Township and the Barnegat Police Department.

At this time, the fire is predominantly moving north and there is no immediate threat to Barnegat Township. However, we encourage everyone to remain prepared in the event of a change in direction.

Due to the fire’s proximity to the Parkway, JCP&L has cut power along that corridor, which is the reason many areas, including the Mirage, are currently without electricity. We understand how disruptive this is and appreciate your patience.
At this time the Mirage remains at a voluntary evacuation status.

Additionally, Route 9 is closed north of Route 532 to Lacey Road. Due to heavy traffic in the area, please avoid traveling on Route 9 if possible.7:35PM (Mirage Management)

Any resident needing a shelter due to evacuations from forest fire are can go to Southern Regional High School or Manchester Township High School.
