There's a lot to like about Mirage
An ideal senior community, the Four Seasons at Mirage offers its residents everything – security and fun.
As a gated community, all visitors must have the approval to enter the community grounds whether they are guests, deliveries, or contractors. Outside soliciting is prohibited. All Mirage residents have individual IDs that allow them access through the main gate and entrance to the clubhouse. Security cameras are in place inside and outside.
Mirage provides its residents with more than just physical security. The Mirage community is financially stable and has resources in place to maintain the highest quality environment well into the future. For all the services that are provided, the monthly charges for residences place the Mirage as one of the most cost-effective communities to live in New Jersey. With its sound financial position and plans in place for the future, it will continue to offer stability and security in the years ahead.
In the Mirage community, residents do not mow lawns or shovel snow. Lawn maintenance and snow removal are provided by a central service along with garbage pick-up. In the spring, summer, or fall, homeowners can do as much or as little as they wish with landscaping, flowers, and accessories to placing their own individual touch on their property. Mowing, leaf collection, fertilizing and underground sprinklers are the responsibilities of the landscaping service. In the winter, the same service takes care of the snow. Homeowners are limited to building snowmen.
For residents who like to be physically and competitively challenged, Mirage will keep them busy with softball, tennis, golf, bowling, Bocce, hiking, swimming, and water volleyball. There’s also ping pong, billiards, Mahjong, chess, and almost every type of card game ever played. For the less competitive souls, there are discussion groups, book clubs, theater, and music groups, woodworking and ceramic shops. Each month has sock hop dances and movie nights and every Friday night there’s a BYOB social get-together in the lounge.
Volunteers bring out the most fun in the Mirage community. During the summer weekends there’s a Lunch Box on the clubhouse patio where residents and guests can take a break from the pool and enjoy resident-cooked favorites while watching Koi swim about in our 10-acre Mirage lake. When the fall arrives, football takes over Sunday afternoons in the lounge and ballroom where residents can cheer on favorite teams as they watch games on the large projection screen while enjoying full dinners prepared by volunteers.
During the course of the year, the Mirage ballroom is the venue for many parties, concerts, dinners, and shows offered by our community social committee and the many different clubs to which homeowners belong to. Whether it’s watching a magician pulling rabbits out of his hat, listening to music from the 60s and 70s, or dancing the night away at the gala New Year’s Eve celebration, Mirage residents know how to enjoy themselves.
The beautifully appointed 23,000 square-foot clubhouse has a large variety of amenities to keep active adults fit and entertained. It houses a large fitness center with a spa and sauna, as well as an indoor pool complete with a wheelchair lift. There is plenty of space for socializing within the clubhouse. There are five different activity rooms, including a ballroom where many singers, dancers, and comedians have appeared. For those who like getting creative with tools, there is a huge woodworking shop. There is also a well-stocked library where it is easy to find a favorite book or two.
Outdoors, the impressive lineup of amenities continues with tennis courts, horseshoe pits, Bocce courts, shuffleboard, putting green, and an outdoor pool with terrace and a picnic pavilion.
Residences feature open floor plans designed to offer between 1,350 and 3,448 square feet of living space. Pre-owned resale homes may be ranch-style or two-story houses with two or three bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and one or two-car garages. Some homes come with lofts, sun-rooms, or basements. Upgrades include hardwood floors, granite countertops, upgraded appliances, and upgraded lots with some of the home sites backing up to woods.
